Purpose

The Snack Rocket is a self-funded startup whose sole purpose is to make it easy for people to order food online and at the same time offer a new platform for restaurants to sell their food and at the same time promote themselves.

SnackRocket was founded right here in Malaysia, when I suggested to my mother(someone afraid of computers) that "Sushi Delivery" in Malaysia would be a brilliant idea. She promptly responded that I should just make a website that allows for businesses to offer deliveries, but not to handle the logistics of having bikers.

So here we are today. Two computer engineers, Asger Johanssen (Denmark), Louis Tan (Malaysia)came together to create a product to allow Restaurant Owners, Fast Food Chains, Home Bakeries, and even your local hawker food store to take orders online.

The entire planning/developing period happened in a matter of 2-3 weeks admist heavy criticism that "Malaysians don't like to do deliveries." Au contraire, it is because there are very few delivery services that Malaysians simply don't bother. Our long term vision is to make Malaysia a better place for us couch potatoes with an internet connection, and we hope you'll join us on this journey.
